I am a habitual over thinker. I worry about the what-ifs, the worst-case scenario, and all the minutiae from the beginning to the end that never quite seems to cover all the unexpected pitfalls, blunders, and the constant pursuit of perfection along with ever-moving goalposts.
Starting this website is one of my decisive choices to not let my fright of life get in the way of starting. Just doing instead of waffling over the possibility that it won’t be alright. The name is inspired by a book I read The Midnight Library which struck a chord with me. There are so many pathways I can see my life going and yet I am at a point in my life where I feel stagnant and like I can do so much better.
As I am writing this, it is the day after Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. I spent the week aimlessly surfing around the web looking at deal after deal, news articles, Reddit posts, Youtube videos, and social media posts all teeming with life and people going about their lives. Living it and not hiding in a corner. I don’t want to continue to be the person who lets life pass me by. I want to live.
My goal with this website is to document my life journey: the growth, the upswings, the downturns, the lessons, all of it. I hope those reading can walk away inspired and moved to renew their lives if they are unhappy with it or become reinvigorated to continue making progress towards their goals. Cheers to life!
