Upcoming REAL ID Requirements for US Domestic Flights

Starting May 7, 2025, if you’re traveling within the US and using your driver’s license as the sole means of identification to board domestic flights, you will need to make sure that your driver’s license has the REAL ID star symbol. Otherwise, you will have to use a valid passport as an alternative option to meet the requirements for air travel.
