The Wealth Ladder: Book Review

This book was recommended to me through a comment of all things, but the best recommendations I’ve gotten are from this method so I’m not complaining! The Wealth Ladder helpfully deconstructs the discombobulated monstrosity that is financial wealth building and breaks it down into digestible rungs on the ladder, each representing net worth ranges and what it takes to get from one rung to the next.

It’s not filled with dry facts or advice that is not directly actionable to where you are at this stage in life. One of the key points of this book to me was the way we react when a goal is achieved. We constantly will want more and think that that insurmountable goal is no longer the end goal once we reach that hurdle. And the grounding that we have in our lives (people, morals, principles, etc.) is key to making sure that we don’t deprive ourselves of a life well lived at the expense of chasing after money. I highly recommend this book to everyone at all stages whether you are just starting out, interested in financial matters, or are very well-versed in all things finance.
